Almendres, Portugal

  1. Hello Bogdan,

Thank you for liking my posts for free Medieval Gnostics kindle books. There will be more in May, then four in June about the sacred in Vietnam.

I like your photography and would like to know more about the stone circle in Portugal if you can tell me.

May I ask if you are part Bosnian, as your first name might imply?

I am also a photographer as well as a writer, so would like to share my gallery at http://mysacredjourneys.com/art/index.html.

    Best,

    Judith Mann

  2. Hi Judith,

I'm very happy that someone found my blog and takes the time to comment! It's very new for me and encouraging.

The Cromlech of the Almendres is a megalithic complex, is the largest existing group of structured menhirs in the Iberian Peninsula, and one of the largest in Europe!
It was a very interesting experience for me because, travelling alone, I found it following a tourist sign and, once I arrived at the point, I found myself alone with the stones! And I was able to take as many photos as I want without being disturbed.

I’m from Romania, but my name is a Slavic one. At the moment I’m living in Spain.
I don’t consider myself a photographer or writer but I enjoy doing both.
    Thank you again.
    A lot of inspiration!

    Bogdan
